Gorenje Brezovo is a small Slovenian settlement in the hills north of Višnja Gora, in the Municipality of Ivančna Gorica. It lies in the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now part of the Central Slovenia Statistical Region. The village covers 1.74 square kilometers and sits about 634 meters above sea level. In 2002 its population was 52. The area has yielded many Roman artefacts from the 19th century, suggesting a large Roman burial ground nearby, though its exact location is unknown. Some artefacts are kept by Vienna’s Museum of Natural History. The place is also known by the German name Oberbresow and is pronounced [ɡɔˈɾeːnjɛ ˈbɾeːzɔʋɔ].
