White Hart, Bishopsgate
White Hart was a pub at 121 Bishopsgate, London. A local historian, Charles Goss, wrote a history of the pub in 1930 and believed it dated back to around 1246. The sculptor Samuel Nixon had his workshop there from 1838 to 1854. The White Hart definitely existed by 1377 and was rebuilt in 1480 and again in 1829. It closed in 2014, and its facade was incorporated into a nine-storey office block.
