Good Old Guard Gospel Singers

Good Old Guard Gospel Singers are a bluegrass band from Garfield County, Colorado. They often write songs with political satire. The members are Don Kaufman, Don Paine, April Paine, and Dustin Micheli. They also play in another group called Defiance Stringband. They wrote and performed EnCana Bluegrass Blues, a spoof of The Dillards’ Old Home Place, criticizing development and pollution blamed on the EnCana Corporation. After threats from EnCana employees, the group stopped playing at places where EnCana workers hang out.
