Hotel Interludes
Hotel Interludes is Eyolf Dale's debut solo piano album. It was released in 2011 by Curling Legs in Oslo and includes both studio and live recordings, totaling about 51 minutes. Dale produced the album himself. The release followed his rising profile after winning the Jazzintro award in 2008 with saxophonist André Roligheten as Albatrosh. Critics praised the work, with Dagbladet and NettAvisen each giving it five stars. The music features a warm, singing piano tone and careful sound treatment, showing Dale as a mature voice in contemporary world jazz.
