God Has a Voice, She Speaks Through Me is a song by CocoRosie, released on May 13, 2008 by Touch and Go Records. The track runs about four minutes and blends elements of art pop, electronic, and indie rock. It was written by Bianca Casady, Sierra Casady, and Gaël Rakotondrabé, with CocoRosie producing.

The label initially pressed 3,000 vinyl copies that included an untitled B-side of noises and distorted singing. On July 8, 2008, 7" picture discs were released, and from 2012 onward the single has been sold only in digital form.

CocoRosie have described the song as the first track they recorded for their forthcoming album. They called it a dance song about suicide, spiritual ecstasy, and life under the veil.

A music video appeared on May 27, 2008 on the Touch and Go Records YouTube channel. Live reviews, such as a 2010 performance at the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta, noted the show as a crowd-pleaser with striking visuals and a dramatic stage setup.

The single drew mixed critical responses. It has been described using many genres—art pop, downtempo, electronic, rock, folk rock, indie rock, indietronica, and progressive pop—and noted for its distinctive vocal effects. Some reviews celebrated its springtime, dance-floor energy, while others found the production challenging.

In a 2016 interview, Bianca Casady discussed the song as feminist and aimed at rethinking the traditional male image of God. She later said the message felt heavy-handed and that she and Sierra wanted to present a more personal vision of God. She also mentioned that the song touches on women who wear the burqa.
