The 1939 Auburn Tigers football team represented Auburn University during the 1939 college football season. They were part of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Led by head coach Jack Meagher in his sixth year, the Tigers finished with a 5–5–1 record overall and 3–3–1 in the SEC. Home games were played at Auburn Stadium, Legion Field, and the Cramton Bowl. The team was not ranked in the final AP poll, but was No. 30 in the Williamson System ratings and No. 39 in the Litkenhous Ratings.
