Gil Cuerva is a Filipino-Spanish actor and international model born Guillermo Ernesto Eleazar Cuerva on August 21, 1995 in Manila, Philippines. He became famous for the lead role Matteo Domingo in the Philippine TV remake of My Love from the Star on GMA Network. He started his career in a Vaseline Dandruff Care commercial and did modeling in Hong Kong before returning to the Philippines to audition for My Love from the Star, which co-starred Jennylyn Mercado, Christian Bautista and Jackie Rice.
