North Carolina Highway 121 (NC 121) is a 13.2-mile primary state highway in eastern North Carolina. It runs from I-587 near Walstonburg in Greene County to NC 43 in Bruce, crossing Pitt County and passing through Farmville. Although signed as a north–south route, most of NC 121 actually travels east–west.

Route description
- Begins at a partial interchange with I-587, just northeast of Fieldsboro in Greene County (access from I-587 eastbound to NC 121 and from NC 121 southbound to I-587 westbound).
- Heads southeast and quickly meets U.S. Route 264 (US 264), with a short 0.4-mile concurrency near the Greene–Pitt county line.
- Enters Pitt County and travels northeast toward Farmville. In Farmville, it is West Wilson Street and meets US 258 Business at May Boulevard and Turnage Street, where NC 121 and US 258 Business run together through Farmville.
- Leaves the town, passing farmland and small forests, through Joyners Crossroads and California.
- Ends at NC 43 in Bruce, a small community between Greenville and Falkland.

History (short)
- The original NC 121 appeared in 1930 on a different route and was removed by 1935.
- The current NC 121 appeared on maps in 1940, running from Farmville to Bruce (about 8 miles) and was fully paved.
- In 1988, NC 121 was extended west to replace part of US 264A toward US 264 and toward NC 91 near Walstonburg.
- Later changes in the 1990s and 2022 involved US 264 Alternate and the replacement of US 264 near Farmville, which affected the routing and concurrencies with NC 121.
