1991–92 Isthmian League
The 1991–92 Isthmian League was the 77th season of this English football competition for semi-professional and amateur clubs from London, the East and South East England. For the first time, the league had four divisions: Division Two North and Division Two South were merged to form Division Two, and Division Three was created.
Premier Division
The Premier Division had 22 clubs. Woking were the champions and were promoted. Bishop’s Stortford were relegated. At the end of the season, Dagenham merged with Redbridge Forest to form Dagenham & Redbridge, and as a result Bognor Regis Town were reprieved from relegation.
Division One
Division One had 22 clubs, including 16 from the previous season and six new clubs (two relegated from the Premier Division, two promoted from Division Two North, and two promoted from Division Two South). Harlow Town left the league at the end of the season due to problems with their ground and did not join any other league the following season.
Division Two
Division Two had 22 clubs, including 18 from the previous Division Two North and South and four clubs relegated from Division One. The previous season’s Division Two North and Division Two South had been merged to form Division Two.
Division Three
Division Three had 21 clubs, including 20 from the previous season’s Division Two North and South and one new club joined from the South Midlands League. Edgware Town were champions, and promoted to Division Two were Chertsey Town and Edgware Town. Before the season, Feltham merged with Hounslow to form Feltham & Hounslow Borough F.C.
