Global Academy of Technology (GAT) is a private, autonomous engineering and management college in Bangalore, Karnataka. It was established in 2001 by D. K. Shivakumar, who serves as president of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee. GAT is part of the National Education Foundation (NEF), a group that runs several educational institutions.

The college sits on a 10-acre campus in Rajarajeshwari Nagar and hosts over 3,000 students along with 300 faculty and staff. GAT is approved by AICTE and affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). The programs are designed by the college with input from VTU and IISc.

GAT offers undergraduate programs leading to a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in eight branches over four years. It also runs postgraduate programs: Master of Technology (M.Tech) in several branches, Master of Science (M.Sc) in various fields, and a two-year MBA (started in 2004 with an initial intake of 60; it has grown to 120).

Facilities include classrooms, laboratories, seminar halls, an auditorium, and a library with books and e-journals. The campus provides 24/7 Wi‑Fi and a web-based CMS for video streaming.

The college houses a Research and Consultancy Centre. Each department has its own student club and hosts interdepartmental and institution-wide activities. For example, the CSE department runs the IT-Virtuoso club, which organizes programming, gaming, papers, quizzes, and more, supported by monthly e-newsletters and an e-magazine.

Sports facilities at GAT include a cricket field, basketball and volleyball courts, a netball court, table tennis, a gym, chess, and carrom.
