Girabola is the top division of Angolan football. Officially called the Campeonato Nacional de Futebol de Séniores Masculinos, it is organized by the Angolan Football Federation. The league features 16 teams and is the highest level in the football pyramid; teams at the bottom are relegated to the Segundona.

The winner and the runner-up earn a place in the CAF Champions League. The competition is the successor to the colonial-era Campeonato do Estado Ultramarino de Angola. It began in 1979 after independence, and the league has varied in size over the years. Since 2010, it has generally had 16 teams. In 2016, a TV rights deal with ZAP briefly renamed the league Girabola ZAP.

As of the 2025–26 season, Petro Atlético are the current champions, claiming their 19th title in 2024–25, the club with the most championships. The all-time top scorer is Love, with 135 goals. CAF rankings for the 2025–26 season are based on performances from 2020–21 to 2024–25.
