Rangitata peelensis
Rangitata peelensis is a small intertidal spider found only in Canterbury, New Zealand. It is the only species in its genus Rangitata. The species was first described in 1973 by Raymond R. Forster and Cecil L. Wilton from a female specimen, and the holotype is kept in the Otago Museum. The female measures about 4.5 mm in length.
