Lime Kiln Mountain is a long ridge in Taney County, in the Ozarks of southern Missouri. The ridge rises to about 1,330 feet in elevation. U.S. Route 160 runs along the ridge from Rueter in the southeast to Hilda in the northwest, a distance of about 7.5 miles. Cane Creek, a tributary of Beaver Creek, flows roughly parallel to the ridge on its northeast side. The mountain’s name comes from a lime kiln that operated there in the 19th century.
