Kota Ueda (上田 康太, Ueda Kota; born May 9, 1986 in Ōme, Tokyo) is a former Japanese footballer who played as a midfielder. He started in the youth teams of Kashiwa Reysol and Júbilo Iwata and had a professional career with Júbilo Iwata, Omiya Ardija, Fagiano Okayama, Tochigi SC, and Criacao Shinjuku. Ueda made 471 league appearances, scored 29 goals, and won the 2010 J.League Cup with Júbilo Iwata. He last played for Criacao Shinjuku.
