Georgian military ranks

Georgia's Defense Forces use a system of ranks and insignia today. In the early 1990s, Georgia introduced a transitional set based on the Soviet model, but with Georgian seven-petal stars instead of the Soviet five-petal stars. The insignia cover commissioned officers as well as non-commissioned officers and enlisted personnel.
