Mill Creek (Mohawk River tributary)
Mill Creek is a tributary of the Mohawk River in Lane County, Oregon. It starts in the Cascade Range foothills northeast of Springfield at about 2,890 feet above sea level and flows west through Wendling to join the Mohawk near Marcola at about 558 feet elevation. The confluence is roughly 13 river miles (21 km) from the Mohawk’s mouth on the McKenzie River. Its named tributaries, from source to mouth, are Straight, Nebo, Deer, Oshkosh, and Wolf creeks. In Wendling, the Wendling Bridge—a 60-foot covered bridge on Wendling Road—crosses Mill Creek. Built in 1938, the bridge has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1979.
