Garčin is a village and municipality in Brod-Posavina County, eastern Croatia. It covers 88.3 square kilometers, with 18.7 square kilometers considered urban.

As of 2021, the municipality has 3,951 residents, including 733 people living in the urban area. Population density is 44.7 people per square kilometer overall, and 39.2 per square kilometer in the urban area. In the 2011 census, 92% of residents were Croats.

The local government is led by Mayor Mato Grgić (HDZ). The area uses the CET time zone (UTC+1) and CEST in summer (UTC+2). Postal code is 35212 and the area code is +385 35. The official website is opcina-garcin.hr.

Minority representation: Directly elected minority councils exist to advocate for minority rights and participation in local life. In 2023, Serbs of Croatia were eligible to elect a 10-member minority council for Garčin, but the elections were not held due to a lack of candidates.
