Gani Fawehinmi Park

Gani Fawehinmi Park, formerly Liberty Park, is a public green space in Ojota, Lagos, Nigeria, near the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and Ikorodu Road Interchange. It was created to honor Gani Fawehinmi, a Nigerian human rights lawyer and activist.

In the center of the park, a 44-foot statue of Fawehinmi stands tall. The statue was commissioned by the Lagos State Government on April 21, 2018. The garden also has signposts telling a short life story, along with other sculptures, greenery, and benches for relaxation and small events. It hosted the Yoruba Nation Rally on July 3, 2021.
