Gangala-na-Bodio Hunting Reserve
Gangala-na-Bodio Hunting Reserve is a large protected area in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is an IUCN Category VI site, meaning it is managed for sustainable use of natural resources. The reserve is in Haut-Uele Province and covers about 9,829 square kilometers (3,795 square miles). It was established in 1974 and borders Garamba National Park. A survey of elephants in the reserve counted 1,202 individuals. The area is designated as a hunting reserve.
