Frank Vincent (judge)
Frank Hollis Rivers Vincent AO KC (born 3 October 1937) is a retired Australian judge. He served on the Supreme Court of Victoria from 1985 to 2009 and was a Court of Appeals justice from 2001 to 2009. He earned a Bachelor of Laws from Melbourne University. He was Chancellor of Victoria University in Melbourne from 2001 to 2009. Vincent retired from the court on 20 August 2009.
In 2007 he was made an Officer of the Order of Australia for his work in reforming penal and parole systems, rehabilitating offenders, supporting Indigenous Australians in the criminal justice system, and for his education work as Chancellor of Victoria University. Since 2012 he has served as a commissioner on the Victorian Law Reform Commission. He is married to Dawn (née Eustace) and they have two daughters.
