FitActive is an Italian fitness club chain that runs as a franchise. It was started by Eduardo Montefusco, with the first gym in Seveso near Milan. In 2015, the brand switched to a budget, low‑cost model offering 24/7 access with a flat monthly fee. During Italy’s COVID-19 lockdowns, FitActive offered live online workout classes for members. By late 2024, the chain had more than 150 locations in Italy and began expanding internationally to Albania, Brazil, Romania, Spain, and Switzerland.

According to Deloitte’s European Health & Fitness Market Report, FitActive has been the leading operator in Italy by number of active clubs since 2020 and is among Europe’s top 20 fitness operators by members and locations. In 2020 the company released a promotional single, “Allena la felicità” (Train Happiness), featuring mascot Ben the alien, with a music video on YouTube. FitActive is based in Milan, and Eduardo Montefusco serves as CEO.
