Tocra (mountain)

Tocra is a mountain in southern Peru. It rises about 5,000 meters (16,400 feet) high and is part of the Vilcanota range in the Andes. It is located in the Puno Region, Carabaya Province, on the border between the Corani and Ollachea districts. The name may come from Quechua and mean faded or pale. Tocra lies east of Macho Ritti and northeast of Ananta, with the lakes Mancacocha and Jomercocha to its south. Coordinates: 13°47′36″S 70°35′33″W.
