Overview
Parda Hai Parda is a 1992 Hindi-language comedy film directed by K. Bapaiah. It stars Chunky Pandey and Meena (in her Bollywood debut), with Malvika Tiwari, Virendra Singh, Rajendranath Zutshi, Laxmikant Berde, Reema Lagoo, Shobha Khote, and Kiran Kumar in supporting roles. The music is by Anand–Milind. The movie is a remake of the Malayalam film In Harihar Nagar and was later remade in Hindi as Dhol. It released on 10 July 1992 and runs about 130 minutes.
Plot
Four carefree friends — Vijay, Appu Khote, Prem, and Thomas — meet a new girl named Maya who has moved into their neighborhood. A mysterious bag and a ruthless gangster named John Honai bring danger into their lives. To impress Maya, the friends pretend they were close to Maya’s deceased brother Raghuveer and his friend Androze. Maya is in town to uncover the truth behind Raghuveer’s death, while Honai tries to learn the bag’s location. The story includes flashbacks about the Androze family and a fortune hidden in a bag. After a series of complications, the friends escape from a warehouse, Maya is kidnapped briefly, and a big fight unfolds. Honai is killed in an explosion, and in the end the bag is found to contain a fortune for the four friends to share.
