Fantasy Boys (also known as My Teenage Boy) is a 2023 South Korean reality competition created by MBC. It’s the male version of the show My Teenage Girl, featuring trainees from around the world who compete to form a global K-pop boy group called Fantasy Boys.

In the season, about 55 contestants joined the competition after worldwide auditions that drew thousands of applicants. The goal is to debut a new global boy group with members from different countries, and the group would also work on webtoon characters, games, digital content, and NFT projects.

The show aired on MBC TV from March 30 to June 8, 2023, with new episodes every Thursday at 10:00 PM KST. The finale was broadcast live and announced the 12 finalists who would become the members of Fantasy Boys. The season had 11 episodes, each running roughly 85 to 122 minutes.

Fantasy Boys was simulcast in multiple regions: MBC TV and Naver NOW in Korea, Abema in Japan, and iQIYI in 12 other countries including Japan, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and more. The program’s opening song is “Fantasy” and the ending song is “I’ll Be,” both performed by the group. A music video for the theme song “FANTASY” was released ahead of the show, along with a special performance video.

The show was produced by Phunky Studio and MBC, with Han Dong-chul directing and Changmin hosting. Filming took place in South Korea, and the production also held large fan events, such as an offline meet-and-greet before the premiere.
