Cristhian Hernández (born October 30, 1993) is a Mexican footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or forward. He was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, and is 1.80 meters tall. He grew up in New Jersey, where he attended Saint Benedict's Preparatory School and helped the team go 24–0 in 2011, earning national recognition as one of the top recruits. In youth soccer, he played for LA Galaxy's U15/U16 team (2008–09) and for the Player Development Academy (2010–11), where he scored 16 goals in 26 appearances and was named USDA U-18 Academy Player of the Year. He began his professional career in 2011 with Central Jersey Spartans and signed with Philadelphia Union in 2012 as the club's third homegrown player. He spent time on loan at Harrisburg City Islanders and later played for New York Cosmos B, UdeG II, Elm City Express, Cuervos de Ensenada, Las Vegas Lights, Philadelphia Fury, and Los Angeles Force.
