Pan American Men's Handball Championship, also known as PanAmericano, was the main competition for senior national teams from North, Central, South America and the Caribbean. Held every two years from 1980, it featured 12 teams and was organized by the Pan-American Team Handball Federation (PATHF). The tournament also served as a qualifier for the IHF World Men's Handball Championship. Cuba has the most titles with eight. In 2018 PATHF folded, and the championship was replaced by the South and Central American Championship and the North America and Caribbean Championship.
