Fame was an American monthly magazine based in New York City. It ran from November 1988 to the Winter 1991 issue and focused on celebrity profiles, interviews, photos, and general-interest stories. The magazine was owned by publisher Steven Greenberg and edited by Gael Love, who had previously worked on Andy Warhol's Interview magazine. In 1989, Fame published an unauthorized index to The Andy Warhol Diaries, but Spy magazine released its own index about a month earlier. Fame lasted about two years, with its final issue appearing at the end of 1990. The magazine was published in English.
