Chris Demaree
Christopher John Demaree (born March 12, 1980) is a former American football defensive tackle from Louisville, Kentucky. He played college football for Kentucky from 1998 to 2001.
Undrafted in 2002, Demaree signed with the San Diego Chargers and appeared in two games in the 2002 season. He spent time with several NFL teams, mostly on practice squads, including the Chicago Bears (2002–2003), the Carolina Panthers (2003), and the San Francisco 49ers (2004). In 2004 he was allocated to NFL Europe to play for the Rhein Fire, appearing in 10 games with 2 starts and recording 20 tackles, 3 sacks, and 1 forced fumble.
Demaree later played in the Arena Football League for the Georgia Force (2005–2006) and the Kansas City Brigade (2007–2008) as a fullback/linebacker under ironman rules. He appeared in eight games for the Force in 2005, played all 16 games in 2006, and finished his AFL career with the Brigade in 2007–2008. His 2008 season included 3.5 sacks and an interception returned for a 42-yard touchdown; the Brigade finished 3–13 that year.
