Executive communication

Content sourced from Wikipedia, licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0.

Executive communication in the U.S. federal government is a message from the President or another executive branch official to the Senate. An example is a presidential veto message, where the President explains why a bill is not being signed into law. These messages are part of how the executive branch communicates with Congress.
