Eugene Frenke

Eugene Frenke (1895–1984) was born in Russia and worked as a film producer, director, and writer. He teamed up twice with director John Huston on the films Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison and The Barbarian and the Geisha. He was married to Ukrainian actress Anna Sten from 1932 until his death in 1984, and she appeared in several of his films.
