Erpetogomphus is a genus of dragonflies in the family Gomphidae, commonly known as ringtails. Most species are green, and males have a moderately clubbed tail. The genus includes living species today and one fossil species, Erpetogomphus shii, described from Early Miocene Mexican amber. The temporal range is from the Early Miocene to the present.
