Anthene afra
Black-edged ciliate blue, Anthene afra, is a butterfly in the Lycaenidae family. It is found in forests across parts of Africa: eastern Nigeria, Cameroon, the Republic of the Congo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Uele, North Kivu, Lualaba), Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda and north‑western Tanzania. Adult males mud-puddle to drink minerals. It was first described by Bethune-Baker in 1910.
