Labor's Heritage was a journal about the history of the American labor movement. It published scholarly but accessible articles for a broad audience. Topics included labor history, education, culture, interviews with current and former labor leaders, the modern labor movement, and news about the National Labor College. It was based in Silver Spring, Maryland. Its readers included academics, students, workers, and labor officials and activists. The editors aimed for historical accuracy and usefulness to both specialists and general readers. Photos were important to attract interest, even if some old photos weren't perfect. Stuart Kaufman founded and edited the journal. The first issue appeared in January 1989. It was published quarterly by the George Meany Memorial Archives at the National Labor College until 2004.
