Ernest Muçi
Ernest Muçi (born 19 March 2001) is an Albanian footballer who plays as a forward or attacking midfielder. He is on loan at Trabzonspor from Beşiktaş and also represents Albania at the international level. He is known for his technique, versatility and long-range goals.
Muçi grew up in Tirana and came through KF Tirana’s youth system. He made his senior debut in 2018 and helped Tirana win promotion to the top division and later win the league title. In 2021 he moved to Legia Warsaw in Poland, where he won the Ekstraklasa in his first season and the Polish Cup in 2023. In February 2024 Beşiktaş signed him for a club‑record fee of about €10 million. He won the Turkish Cup and Turkish Super Cup with Beşiktaş before going on loan to Trabzonspor for the 2025–26 season to get regular first‑team football.
Internationally, Muçi has played for Albania at under-19 and under-21 levels before making his senior debut in November 2021. He scored his first senior international goal in June 2023 against the Faroe Islands and was part of Albania’s Euro 2024 qualifying campaign, reaching the finals. He appeared in two group matches at Euro 2024.
Off the field, Muçi was born in Tirana and has admired Cristiano Ronaldo since his childhood. He has been in a relationship with Klea Verri, a basketball player from Tirana, and the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Mei, in October 2025.
