Sara Nordenstam (born 28 February 1983) is a Norwegian swimmer who competes mainly in breaststroke. She was born in Lycksele, Sweden, to Swedish parents and moved to Oslo when she was 10. She became a Norwegian citizen in 2004.

She swam for Lambertseter SK and attended Southern Methodist University, where her college team was the SMU Mustangs.

Her big international breakthrough came at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She set a European record in the heats of the 200-meter breaststroke and won the bronze medal in the final, becoming Norway's first woman to win an Olympic swimming medal.

She also had success at the European Championships: gold in 2012 Debrecen in the 200-meter breaststroke, and silver in 2010 Budapest in the 200-meter breaststroke.

She has won 16 Norwegian championship medals in total.

She studied advertising and marketing in the United States and earned a bachelor's degree. She lives in Lambertseter, Oslo. Her height is 1.69 m and her weight is 70 kg.
