Ernest David Marquand
Ernest David Marquand (1848–1918) was an English botanist. He is best known for writing Flora of Guernsey. His son, Cecil Victor Boley Marquand, also became a botanist. Marquand studied in New York and spent most of his career working with plant collections, especially at the British Museum. He collected plants in the Channel Islands and in Germany, often with Herbert Airy Shaw.
