Ember Records (US label)
Ember Records was an American independent record label started by Al Silver in New York City. It operated as the sister label to Herald Records. The label featured artists such as The Five Satins, who recorded the classic song In the Still of the Night, and New Orleans saxophonist Lee Allen, known for Walking With Mr. Lee. Both Ember and Herald ceased operations in the mid-1960s.
