Henderson High School (Georgia)
Henderson High School was a public high school in DeKalb County, Georgia, located at 2830 Henderson Mill Road, 30341. The school opened in 1967 and its building was designed by architect John C. Portman Jr.
In 1985, one Henderson student was recognized as a Presidential Scholar. In 1990, a Washington Post article described tensions over religious clubs on campus and how the school handled them after a Supreme Court ruling in Westside Community Board of Education v. Mergens. Henderson allowed a poster for an off-campus Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting.
In 1996, Henderson High School closed as a high school and the building reopened as Henderson Middle School.
