Eretmichthys pinnatus (Garman, 1899) is a deep-sea cusk-eel in the Ophidiidae family. It lives in the Indo-Pacific from Sulawesi and Japan to the western coast of Colombia, and off Brazil, at depths of about 1,355 to 2,820 meters (4,446 to 9,252 feet). It grows up to 41 cm in length and is the only known species in its genus. Conservation status: Least Concern (IUCN 3.1).
