Alberto Carlos Félix da Silva, known as Alberto, was born on 31 October 1966 in Santa Rita, Paraíba, Brazil. He is a former footballer who played as a midfielder and later became a coach. He began his senior career with Fluminense in 1986 and spent his playing days at many Brazilian clubs, including Ituano (where he was the top scorer in the 1990 Paulista), Bragantino, Ponte Preta, Remo, Cruzeiro, Guarani, Coritiba and Londrina, among others. He earned one cap for Brazil in 1993 in a friendly against Mexico and retired in 2004 at Londrina, aged 37.

After retiring, Alberto started a coaching career. He has managed numerous clubs in Brazil, such as Penapolense, Atibaia, Taubaté, Bragantino’s youth team and first team, Noroeste, Votuporanguense, Rio Claro, Linense and Inter de Limeira, among others. In November 2025, he was named head coach of Inter de Limeira, but was dismissed on January 24, 2026, after a run of five matches with one win.
