Cuthbert Turner

Cuthbert Hamilton Turner (1860–1930) was an English ecclesiastical historian and Biblical scholar. In 1920 he became Dean Ireland's Professor of the Exegesis of Holy Scripture at Oxford University. His main work was Ecclesiae Occidentalis Monumenta Iuris Antiquissima (EOMIA), a long collection of early canon-law sources published in parts from 1899 to 1939. He studied at Winchester College and New College, Oxford, and became a Fellow of New College in 1889.
