Ellen Remona Tise (born October 29, 1961) is a South African librarian. She was president of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) from 2009 to 2011, with the theme “Libraries Driving Access to Knowledge (A2K).” Her work has focused on library associations and promoting open access in libraries. Tise was LIASA's first president, serving during 1998–2000 and 2000–2002. Since January 2006 she has served as Principal Director of Library and Information Services at Stellenbosch University. She was President of the FAIFE Advisory Committee of IFLA for 2019–2021 and is an honorary member of LIASA, IFLA, and the Lubutu Library Partners Advisory Board.
