Elachyophtalma goliathina
Elachyophtalma goliathina is a moth from the Bombycidae family. It was described by Walter Rothschild in 1920 and is found in New Guinea. The wingspan is 56–60 mm. Adults are dark chocolate brown with a faint zigzag line before the middle of the wings and two darker, wavy lines after the middle. The hindwings have a reddish tint, and the edge of the abdomen shows whitish lines. It belongs to the genus Elachyophtalma; its full scientific name is Elachyophtalma goliathina Rothschild, 1920.
