Samuel Garmison
Samuel Garmison was a Jewish scholar and rabbi who lived in Ottoman Syria in the 17th century. He was born in Salonica and later settled in Jerusalem, where he served as a rabbi. Only two of his many works survive, both in manuscript: Imre Binah, a collection of novellae on Talmudic tractates, and Imre No'am, a book of homilies. The second part of Imre No'am is held by Hakham Bashi Al-Yashar in Jerusalem. In Imre No'am he quotes Imre Yosher, Imre Emet, and a commentary on Tur Choshen Mishpat.
