Clayton Hinkley
Clayton Hinkley (born 21 February 1989) is a former Australian rules footballer who played as a midfielder for Fremantle in the AFL from 2008 to 2011. He was picked at No. 24 in the 2007 national draft from North Ballarat (TAC Cup). He appeared in 22 AFL games and scored 5 goals. Hinkley is known as a quick midfielder; at the 2007 AFL Draft Camp he ranked highly in sprint, agility, and shuttle run tests.
When not in the AFL, he played for Swan Districts in the WAFL. Fremantle delisted him on 7 September 2011. He then played for Port Melbourne in the VFL (2012–2013), Warrack Eagles in the Wimmera Football League (2014), and later for the Birchip-Watchem Bulls in the North Central Football League (2021–2022), helping them win the premiership in 2022. He also represented Victoria Country in the National Under-18 Championships and co-captained North Ballarat in the TAC Cup.
