Petra Volpe
Petra Biondina Volpe (born 6 August 1970 in Suhr, Aargau, Switzerland) is a Swiss screenwriter and film director. She is best known for directing The Divine Order. In 2025 she directed Late Shift (Heldin), a Swiss–German co-production selected for the Berlinale Special Gala at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival. The world premiere was in February 2025, and it was released in Swiss theaters on 27 February 2025. Filming began in April 2025 on her English-language debut, Frank & Louis, starring Kingsley Ben-Adir.
