Edward (Eddie) Attard, born in 1947 in Sliema, is a Maltese writer. He studied at the Lyceum and joined the Malta Police Force in 1966. From 1977 to 1986 he led the police publications unit. He wrote three books on the history of the Malta Police Force and two about Corradino Civil Prison. He is the author of the bestseller Delitti f'Malta (Homicides in Malta), which covers homicide cases in Malta from 1800 to April 2012. He also published 24 issues of Delitti u Misteri (Murders and mysteries).
