Šiauliai Free Economic Zone
Šiauliai Free Economic Zone (FEZ) is a tax-free zone in Šiauliai, Lithuania. It covers about 133 hectares and has 15 MW of power capacity. The zone focuses on engineering industries such as metal, plastics, textiles and electronics, and it is located near the Šiauliai Airport and major roads for easy access. It was created in 1996, later closed, and reopened in 2015. Companies in the FEZ include Medicinos linija UAB (dental products), Reklamos diktatorius UAB (outdoor advertising), and the Dutch firm Formula Air (air filtration systems).
