Sri Lankan commemorative coins
Since 1957, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka has issued commemorative coins. On 15 December 2010, the bank released a crown-sized, frosted-proof, multi-colour silver coin with a denomination of 5,000 rupees to mark its 60th anniversary.
