Spore (1991 video game)
Spore is an MS-DOS video game from 1991 created by Mike Snyder and published by Flogsoli Productions. It blends Breakout-style paddle-and-ball action with a text adventure and includes spreadsheet puzzles. The story is set in the future: a group of space settlers colonizes a world they name Spore. The settlers and all life on Spore vanish, and Earth receives an SOS from the planet twelve days after the disaster. Players take on the role of a lone explorer trying to uncover what happened to the vanishing inhabitants. The game is single-player.
